Financial Controller – Dublin 12 - €85,000+
Our established client, having undergone heavy investment recently, is now in the perfect position to grow both in Ireland and internationally. They are looking for a high energy, strategic financial controller with ambitions to become Finance Director quickly! Everyone in this environment is very bright and passionate about their industry, they are looking for someone to join and help drive their business in a collegiate manner.
Responsibilities
- Managing and developing the finance team – AP, AR and a qualified accountant
- Full responsibility of the financials from cashflow to P&L to budgets & forecasts
- Monthly presentation to the board providing insightful commentary & strategic input
- Analysis of both financials & commercials
- Annual audit responsibility
- Statutory & tax returns
- Process improvements – automate where possible, implement efficiencies
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with approximately 5 years PQE, ideally from manufacturing but not essential
- Hands on approach, this is an SME, everyone helps out and every voice is heard
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Highly analytical with the ability to drive change
Remuneration
- €85,000 plus bonus, pension, health cover, 24 days leave, flexible working (but initially the right person will want to spend time in the business getting to know the team).
