VAT Manager – Retail – Dublin 2 – Salary Competitive One of Irelands largest retailers has a new opening for an experienced VAT Manager to join their team. Reporting to a Financial Controller, this role will liaise with the wider group to ensure VAT compliance for the business.Responsibilities - VAT returns to Revenue
- Monitor sales to ensure VAT compliance
- Manage VAT audits
- Work with sales teams to ensure correct VAT rates are used
- Assist with automation of processes where VAT is concerned
- Stay up to date with VAT legislation
Requirements - Qualified accountant or tax qualified
- Ideally practice trained with some post practice experience if possible
- Technical VAT expert for both Irish & European legislation
- Oracle would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication is essential
